What you'll do
We’ll begin by discussing what the difference is between investing and speculation. You’ll learn the pros and cons of different service levels that exist in the market (from DIY, to Robo-investors, or Investment Advisors). And what fees each option will charge you.
Then you’ll learn about tax-sheltered accounts (we call these Vases). TFSA, RRSPs etc.
You’ll also learn about the main types of investments (Stocks, Bonds, GICs - we call these Financial Flowers) to help you understand what exists in the investment landscape and what financial bouquets might work best for you.
You’ll get your chance to get started right away. You’ll complete an exercise that will set you on the right path.
