Our founder, Kristine Beese, is approachable, kind and the mom of three amazing kiddos. She has made a ton of errors with her money, and you are welcome to learn from her mistakes. Kristine approaches money with a trauma-informed lens, she believes in being non-judgmental, and she thinks that the financial industry shames people for the money decisions. She learned firsthand that women experience different financial lives than men. 

Kristine has a background in finance. She worked on RBC's Toronto trading floor (Canada's largest), worked as a Stock Analyst for RBC in London, UK (a major financial center). Later when she moved back to Canada she helped to build a mutual fund, investing money for wealthy Canadians using a Value Investing investment style).
